The last Flutter of a Waning Moon

It has been awhile since my last post. It has been a time of reflection and struggle that have made me more cinical than ever on the fate of mankind. I struggle to find any evidence of moving forward. The pope's encyclical perhaps is the best news that has come out in awhile. I could not have imagined a few years back that the leader of the Catholic church would be a scientist pope. - that one of the strongest voices to combat climate change and the spiteful predatory capitalism that has come to rule economies of nations is that of the Vatican. We have seemed to reach a breaking point where people are beginning to truly rebel against what seemed to be overwhelming forces of corruption and greed. In the meantime I have sought some refuge in nature, continued to observe and record and hopefully learn.
